N. GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS:

  1. Though the school can do a lot for your child, it can not do everything. The home is the place where the child gets his/her first education and training. It is the chief place where character is formed and developed. Education only enhances the growth or personality and helps to discover the dormant qualities that are in them. So your cooperation is very necessary.
  2. Let your child do things for himself/herself, like dressing up, keeping the toys back, throwing the trash in the bin  or helping you in common house hold work.
  3. Express love and respect to your child. Treat him/her with the same courtesy as you would to a friend. Use Thankyou & Please. Do not ever scold or reprimand your child in front of his friends, brothers, sisters or any outsider.
  4. Never compare your child with anyone because every child is different from others. Encourage and help the child to improve in areas where they are weak but also let him/her know how proud you are of his/ her strengths. Mistakes are an important part of learning. Encourage, motivate and equip your child to try again.
  5. Monitor and limit the use of Television and Mobile phones. Make your child learn his/her mother’s phone number, father’s name and address.
  6. For obtaining any official document from school one week notice should be given. (except TC and Report Card).
  7. Parents cooperation is solicited in maintaining Punctuality, Regularity and Discipline.
  8. No books (other than Textbooks and school notebooks), magazines or newspaper should be brought to the school.
  9. The school does not encourage release of students during school hours. Please avoid such requests.
  10. Parents are not allowed to meet their children or teacher during school hours without prior permission of the Principal.
  11. Please make sure that your child goes to bed early at night by 0800 p.m., so that he/she feels fresh and happy the next morning and is not forced to, or rushed for getting ready to school.
  12. Your child should be regular in the class, as frequent absence hampers the progress of the child.
  13. Please do not come to handover any left article, (lunch box, notebook etc.) during the school hours.
  14. Lost and found articles deposited in the school office must be claimed and received within a month.
  15. School regularity conducts lots of fun activities, like yoga, playing with sand, pouring of water, dancing, singing etc for grooming the students.
  16. Kindly inform the school at the earliest, in case of any change in the address or telephone no.
  17. No sharp/ harmful objects like fork, scissors etc. should be carried in the bags, which might cause injury to others.
  18. No money/ mobile/ valuable to be given to the child. ( The shall not be responsible if lost.)
  19. If your child picks up anything from school or any other child’s bag. Kindly return it the next day. Please take special interest and monitor your child’s activities.
